Saving Lives is All in a Day's Work for
New Lenox Machine

Most lathe operators don't arrive at work thinking about saving American lives, but Al Seniw and his team at New Lenox Machine Co./New Lenox Ordnance, wake up every day intending to do just that. "We're proud of the work we do to save the lives of our GIs," Al says.  "We put a lot of energy into research and development to stay ahead.  It's a niche where we can make a real difference." High Efficiency Machining Methods

A workshop demonstrating High Efficiency Machining (HEM) methods was jointly developed by Mastercam, ISCAR and Milltronics CNC Machines.  HEM is the result of integrating Mastercam's Dynamic toolpath motion, ISCAR's Chatterfree solid carbide tooling, and Milltronics VM20IL machining center with high speed 8200 series CNC Control. Read more about HEM methods.

Join us January 26, 2012 for the 2012 Mastercam X6 roll-out event, presented by Prototek Engineering, local Mastercam re-seller.

Tool Load Monitoring

The "Tool Load Monitoring" feature can be used to help identify excessive load conditions during aggressive cutting applications with large tools. Operators can enable this feature to generate an alarm -- or shut down the machine -- when excessive loads result from events like tool failure, or spindle stall. Find out more
