Explore how Standard Tool and Die reduced set-up and increased productivity with their Milltronics machines. You can also take a closer look at cost effective large part machining capability with our new, improved BR Series Bridge Mills.

Surrounded by snow on the ground and ice on the lakes (and roads) in Minnesota, all of us at Milltronics are reminded how important it is to have equipment you can count on. We believe our customers deserve peace of mind too; and we know our machines deliver. Remember Milltronics' customers don't pay extra for the 2 year parts warranty on our CNC Machines; it's FREE.

StandardToolCustomer Spotlight: Standard Tool & Die Reduces Set-up and Increases Productivity
In 1983 Standard Tool & Die in Stevensville, Michigan began building its reputation as a premium tooling and prototype manufacturer for the automotive, appliance and furniture industries. Over the years, the company has relied heavily on its 20 Milltronics mills and more recently its slant bed lathe. They have systematically added mills that can accommodate different size jobs. "Depending on the size of a part, we can run almost any program on any machine," according to Charlie Kreitner, Floor Supervisor at Standard.

"The robust, but user-friendly controls are a big reason we keep adding Milltronics machines to our floor," notes Kreitner. The controls have helped operators reduce set-up time and made them more productive since one operator can program and run two machines simultaneously.

ImportDXFFilesHow It Works: Easy Import of DXF Files Into CNC Control
DXF GraphicA feature of the Milltronics 7200 control is the ability to easily import CAD Files (.dxf and .cdl) directly into a conversational program. This feature creates the line and arc events that specify the part geometry for milling applications or creates the
drill positions for drilling applications. Get the details.

This video demo shows how easy it really is.

The Milltronics CNC Control blends ease of use with features and performance demanded by the most sophisticated workshops. New operators can be quickly trained and productive in no time with Conversational programming, on screen help, intuitive menus, color graphics, prompted tool setting routines and more. A unique and powerful "Trig Help" feature even eliminates the need for shop floor calculations.
