Eaton Theatre (Room 204), Rogers Communication Centre, 80 Gould St. Adi Nes speaks about his artistic perspective on contemporary Israeli society and the politics of identity, introducing his newest body of work, The Village, which will be premiering in New York and Paris.
Adi Nes is a Featured Exhibition in the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival.

Icons of Loss: The Art of Samuel Bak March 1 - April 30 | Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery, Columbus Centre
901 Lawrence Ave. W. The first major exhibition of Samuel Bak's work in Canada consists of several dozen important paintings - roughly half of them based upon the May 16, 1943 photograph depicting a little boy at gun point during the liquidation of the Warsaw Ghetto. The other half of the works explore a different icon - Albrecht Durer's 1514 engraving Melancholia 1.
Presented with the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and the Pucker Gallery, Boston in cooperation with the artist, Samuel Bak.
