A comprehensive workshop for artists looking to deepen their understanding of landscape painting.

A not-to-be-missed evening of music, dance, performance, spoken word and more with Toronto's brightest avant-garde artists, creating exciting new Jewish culture that reaches back to the world of Chagall for flavour, colour and inspiration. Featuring the jazz fusion ensemble The Thing Is, selections of contemporary choreography from Kaeja d'Dance, accordionist Sasha Luminsky with Jonno Lightstone, and the Canadian debut of highlights from Bella: The Colour of Love, written and performed by Yiddish jazz chanteuse Theresa Tova together with celebrated Montreal pianist Matt Herskowitz. Plus surprise art bursts in the galleries!
 

Come early and see the exhibition Chagall and the Russian Avant-Garde: Masterpieces from the Collection of the Centre Pompidou, ParisAdmission to the AGO is free on Wednesdays and the museum is open late. See this special exhibition for just $10!

Leading up to TIFF's presentation of Polanski's much anticipated new film, Carnage (starring Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster), this retrospective looks back at some of the highlights of his career and traces the recurring themes and obsessions that have shaped his singular vision.
