Dear Friends,
We have some big news to share with you at the Koffler!
As part of our effort to continue to serve all of Toronto with our unique brand of arts and culture, the Koffler Centre of the Arts is joining the Artscape YOUNGplace project to open in fall 2012.
The Koffler Centre of the Arts has signed a five-year lease with Artscape to occupy a prominent space on the main floor of Artscape YOUNGplace at 180 Shaw Street, just north of Queen Street West in the heart of downtown Toronto's art and design district. The Koffler's expansion to Artscape YOUNGplace was announced yesterday at the offical groundbreaking and naming ceremony. Click here to see photos from the event.
The Koffler's growing repertoire of exhibitions and programs will continue to be available across the GTA, from downtown to Vaughan. Future Koffler Gallery exhibitions and related programs will be based at the Artscape YOUNGplace as the new Koffler building at Bathurst and Sheppard is constructed. Koffler programs - including our repertoire of over 65 classes each year in visual art, music, ceramics and dance - will continue at the Prosserman JCC on Sherman Campus. Next fall, we will also debut classes and programs at the new Schwartz/Reisman Centre on Lebovic Campus in Vaughan.
We look forward to seeing all of you at Koffler events all over the city!
