Followed by Creating Comics Step-By-Step at 4:30 PM, a masterclass with Schrag on the elements of storytelling through comics, including outlines, rough drafts, style, inking, background imagery, and comics' symbolic vocabulary. $15 advance, $25 door. Space is limited.

We need your family photos! Be part of a Koffler Gallery project recapturing the memories of North York and its surrounding neighbourhoods.

 

Artist Stephen Cruise is looking for photographs taken by North York residents in the 1970s - 80s. Do you have family photos taken around that time in the area between Steeles Avenue, Yonge Street, Wilson Avenue and Allen Road? If yes, please let us know and we will make arrangements to copy your photos.

In the Beginning: A Jewish Playwright's Festival

 

Taking place from June 13-16 at the Miles Nadal JCC, four playwrights will have the chance to workshop their scripts with professional actors and directors and receive one public staged reading. Now in its second year, In the Beginning aims to open the door for Jewish voices that offer fresh perspectives on Jewish history, heritage, and experience.
