IN THE COMMUNITY

Summerhood Screenings
November 5 - 25 | AMC, Yonge & Dundas
Remember summer camp? Not like this you don't! Filmmaker Jacob Medjuck abandons all courteous conventions and polite expectations to bring us this biting, but ultimately tender, coming of age comedy. Narrated by John Cusack and shot at Camp Kadimah.

Kosher Lutherans
November 10 - 21 | Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge St
Hanna and Franklyn are a perfect Jewish couple who desperately want to have a child of their own, but can't. A young woman from Iowa, pregnant and God-fearing, offers her baby for adoption. Before signing the adoption papers, the couple realizes she doesn't know they're Jewish. Fearing that this may put the adoption in jeopardy, they pose as Lutherans - but how far will they go to have a family?

Presented by TEATRON Toronto Jewish Theatre | Tickets and more info: www.teatrontheatre.com
