Support the Koffler with an evening of comedy, culture... and kibitzing! It's a night of laughter as the Koffler opens the Toronto premiere of comedian Elon Gold's new one-man show. A regular correspondent on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Elon takes his "what's the matter with us?" insights and riffs on the absurdities of his own people. Click here for full details.

Opening night of Half Jewish, Half Very Jewish is presented by the Koffler Centre of the Arts and the Toronto Just For Laughs Festival presented by WestJet, July 6-11, 2010. Proceeds support the Koffler's year-round offering of interdisciplinary cultural programs.

The Year of the Flood, hosted by Ralph Benmergui
Wednesday, June 30, 7:30 PM
The Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie Street | $30
Howard Wiseman's play about a Russian-Jewish furrier and a Native Chief in Winnipeg 1950, both mavericks in their own communities, who have an unusual business relationship and a friendship no one likes. As the floodwaters rise, both are devastated by what they each perceive as betrayal by the other... in The Year Of The Flood.
