From room monitors to hospitality team members, from registration to data entry typists, we have roles open for everyone. You don't need to be an SCGS member and you don't need to volunteer for long shifts. Raise your hand by clicking on the graphic above. You'll learn more about the opportunities and tell us how to get in touch with you. You'll be glad you did!

Valuable Door Prizes
| | |
Wow. That's what you'll say when you see the list of valuable door prizes donated by dozens of Jamboree sponsors and supporters.
Topping the list is the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel. They will be providing a seven-day stay at the hotel that is just footsteps away from the Family History Library.
There will be a *second* trip to Salt Lake, sponsored jointly by Ancestor Seekers and the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel.
Add that to the books, food, electronic, subscriptions, services, memberships, and other prizes, and it all adds up to excitement, fun, and a chance to win.

Transportation, Parking and Hotel
The conference hotel is the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport, 2500 Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA. The negotiated conference rate is $155 per night, with $10 a night parking.
Make your reservations before May 6, 2012, to get the special conference rate. The discounted room rate is in effect for June 5 through June 12, 2012 (depending on availability). To reserve your room, phone 800-736-9712 and mention code GGGGGGA or make your reservation online.
We will provide room-mate matching services again. Please contact us at jamboree@scgsgenealogy.com if you are looking for a roommate.
The gas prices now are really grim and we are doing whatever we can to help take away the sting. A group has been set up at RideBuzz.org to facilitate carpools. Think of alternative ways of travel, too. Get creative. Think about taking the train. Organize a bus trip with other members of your society.
One more piece of good news. We know that parking at the Marriott is a challenge. The Marriott has collaborated with the airport to provide for overflow parking. More information, including maps, will be available closer to Jamboree.
