Retro Lovely #2 shipping woes.

Not only did I not get the rest of the shipment of issue #2 last week but it appears there is some sort of holdup with the shipper that has me without a specific arrival date for the rest of the order.  This is proving quite frustrating.  A bunch more orders have come in that obviously I can't get out and some of you have events coming up that I can't guarantee copies will make it in time.

The reason for the extended shipping timeline was in a move to save money, it was to have saved money while allowing the issue to expand to 108 pages.  It should have worked like a champ. It has not. It has not as a result of a number of contributors being late with content to me.  This pushed back the date I was able to upload the files to the printer. Money was also lost due to the fact that because of the late content and pushing the timeline past when some contributors had events I shelled out a LOT of money to get a bunch of copies shipped expedited and also an arm and a leg to get those copies to the parties who had events around the 4th.

Two things here.  First the deadline is the deadline.  For issue #3 this is August 13th. If you have submissions now, begin uploading. Second I will not guarantee delivery dates moving forward.  They will be approximations.

In general.
Feedback  has been excellent on No.2 and I do see a momentum building.  I am hearing from a number of photographers who apparently are hearing about us more and more from models. It seems they are talking about the magazine, asking the photographers if they are involved with the magazine so that they might submit work to it.

Taboo
There are now 42 confirmed pre-orders.  This equates to about $420 which I now deduct from the total cost of the run. This now means pages stand at $45 per. Those interested can simply upload as usual and send me a note with your thoughts on involvement etc.

Direct responses from me
I am having a tough time getting back to people individually in a timely manner.  This is simply a matter of juggling some things and being a bit tied up in general.  It's why I lean on these newsletters.  If anything is super pressing throw "IMPORTANT" in the subject line.
