Retro Lovely #2 Comps I did forge ahead getting out pre-orders all last week. It ended up being that I ran out and was not able to get copies to people in the issue with the exception of a few models and photographers amongst you who also ordered some via the store (in those instances I send the order plus the comps) That said apologies I thought there would be enough to get the samples on the way but did not have enough on hand. The balance of the order is on the way though I do not yet have a pinpointed date on when I will have them / resume shipping. RL#3 Anyone ready to begin uploading submissions feel free to do so. One thing I can say is that space in issue #3 will be tight as I am losing my ability to simply offer space to people as a number of participants in the Pinup Syndicate are doing a lot of work promoting and growing the RL presence. That growth benefits anyone in it. That support on their part has me in their debt and the show of appreciation is more space to showcase their work. If we were bi-monthly it would afford more opportunities and more flexibilities but until that point, or a financial point where a 120 page issue could become feasible this system works, is fair and it is how it will be done. Consignment Copies For anyone in issue #2 please let me know if you have any events coming up where having copies available for sale would aid you. I can get you extras on consignment with your comps so you might have them to promote, and put some cash in your pockets. I will also very soon be asking some of you who had gotten such copies with issue #1 what your inventory is like as I am running very very low and may ask to pull some back to be available in the store. The rarity and notoriety issue No.1 has garnered has made them fantastic "bait" to gain subscriptions. Taboo Wow, I think there are already 25 pre-orders in. Now here as I noted, that money will be set aside and used for the printing costs, the value also gets deducted from the balance of what I'd need to do the printing. As a point of reference I said originally that a page would run $50.... Simply pre-selling 100 copies would mean the price per page would come down to $40.... If we manage to pre-sell 200 copies.... Then per page a mere $30.... If we pre-sell 500 copies, no one would need to send in any money for their space. M
