So....
I just put up a product on the store last night, staging to begin pre-selling the Retro Lovely Taboo Edition. Then I put the current cover mockup on the Facebook Fanpage.... Given the comments, given that a guy from the UK already ordered a copy... I think this might well be a very interesting development in the Retro Lovely saga.... I'm very optimistic on it... so much so I am going to set some things up on this one... I was going to plunk down $500 to subsidize it a bit, now I was also going to throw something of my own on the cover for this and a few pages, but it would mean we could lock in page pricing at $50. But I have to say, there's a lot of people love the devil out of that shot of Caroline Jones that is curently the "sample" cover. Might be we honor it and confirm with the photog that it's cool to use this as the cover... might be fitting.... though not fitting in orientation, that image is VERY tall.... I will need to see if we can get it to work well in reality.
At $50 per page, this means interested parties would only need have 5 fans pre-order copies to secure additional space. This strikes me like it might be very easy to do. I think I can myself....

What I'd like to do is that any interested parties, identify how much space they think they'd like/want.... then I'd ask for a 50% deposit based on the $50 per page. Then as presales begin it could be the balance is paid for you by others (and then some) or you increase the page count. Each page = a share we sell half the run we are at break even. Sell the rest and per page earnings would be $50 to $60.
And I continue to ship copies of issue #2 but am running out of the advance portion, I have a note to the printer to try to determine the arrival of the rest of the run. Private notes to a few of you follow this mailing.
