This will be a quick note.
As many of you well know by now we would have gone through the entire run I had planned of Retro Lovely #1, but based on the pre-sales we managed I bit the bullet, drained out my own bank account and got an extra 1000 copies. I was nervous about that too. But they kept moving, and then some of you and some of the models saw the potential of what having some of these could provide and then boxes of 5-10 and 20 at a time started going out. Some stores I placed some with also moved copies quickly enough that they too have re-ordered. When we got down to 600 or so I even increased the price in the store to $15 and they had still kept selling and recently when I packaged issue #2 with a copy of #1 back at $10, well, there have been quite a few of those sales too.
Beyond providing us with a very noteworthy first issue cover model, Mitzi has been taking advantage of this in a big way. And doing well enough that she's asked me for another large quantity.
With recent shipments and what I am setting aside for her, I will have less than 250 copies of issue #1.
I personally am going to buy 50 copies so... there is 200 left in my basement right now, yeah really glamorous right? It's OK I know some of you shoot in basements (sometimes basements are cool, saw a bad ass shot in Sarah from Dynamite Dames basement once of Amber DeVille) Anyway..... for anyone who thinks they want to have their hands on a few more copies now is the time to consider it as it will be a bit of time before money exists that I could reprint #1. Mitzi herself expects to easily fetch $20 a piece for these and I intend to follow as well. Anyone in issue #1 can still get copies from me delivered at $6 each. 5 or more at a time for my shipping sanity.
I have to suspend providing them on consignment and am now asking those who have quantities on consignment to possibly return them to me.. I will cover UPS ground shipping costs by the way.
