Issue #2 Staging

Hey all,

I had hoped to have more info on this newsletter.  It is mainly to cover a few things.  First up, several of you have FTP'd me some images.... some pretty exciting work I might add.  I've not yet gotten back to most of you on which images are striking me most but will do so today or tomorrow.  This is the point where we need to begin hashing the details out as it affects how we can promote.  Like empowering the models to get excited and talk about it can't happen until we know which models we are going to use.

I had hoped the coupons for everyone would have been a good solution to the many emails I received on issue #1 where people got confused by all the products in the store showing different artists.... some thought there was a difference in magazines.

Already though I've had a few instances where people bought copies and did NOT use the coupon codes available to them, which also assigned it to a particular photog.... argh, I refunded those people the discount, and listed them to the photog but that's going to be very time consuming and impossible to stay on top of..... soooooooooo

I did this:

This was each of you can use the graphic below to link to your specific place in the store, thus the people you roundup are led directly to your spot and it's the best chance to ensure you get the credit.  They can even NOT use the coupon and you still won't loose the benefit to your effort.  Benefit for your efforts =  more space in the issues.

http://www.retrolovely.com/promo.gif  I will likely tweak this over the coming weeks so if you embed the url it will automatically update as I fine tune it.

Coupons are here, I need to add more:

If you have not gotten FTP info yet hit me on that.

To have issue #2 for late June we need to have material in by the 3rd week of May.

There are a few of you who have promoted the devil out of issue #1 and have helped sell many copies which in turn has the project "owing you" space, in a few cases lots of space.  I'd like to set something up where per issue we limit any one artists space to 6 pages.  Simply to keep variety throughout as that diversity has absolutely been an aspect about it that customers have responded to.  That said it's a situation where some will have pages that could be applied to issue #3.  For those who continue to be over-achievers it might be that I provide more promo copies for your uses that you may be able to sell and earn that $$$.

I'm open to ideas there also.

This week I will have an online staging area where I will begin uploading images I intend on including in the issue.  Another newsletter will have that link.

Cheers,

Michael
