Public workshops and hearings begin today
Help shape our region's future. The San Diego Association of Governments is hosting five public workshops/hearings throughout the region, as well as two additional public hearings, to encourage the public to learn more about the Draft 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), as well as its many important elements and related documents. The Draft 2050 RTP is a comprehensive blueprint for our region's transportation future during the next 40 years. We invite you to attend a public workshop/hearing and comment on the Draft 2050 RTP and its Sustainable Communities Strategy, the Draft Air Quality Conformity Determination, the Draft Environmental Impact Report, and the Draft Regional Housing Needs Assessment Methodology and Allocation.
Five public workshops and hearings will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. as follows:
- Tue, June 7- Encinitas Community & Senior Center, Encinitas
- Wed, June 8 - The Joe & Vi Jacobs Center, San Diego
- Thu, June 9 - Sonrise Community Church, Santee
- Mon, June 13 - Martin Luther King Jr. Center, National City
- Thu, June 16 - San Marcos City Council Chambers, San Marcos
Additional public hearings will be held as part of these regularly scheduled meetings:
- Fri, June 10 - SANDAG Board of Directors Meeting, 401 B St., San Diego, 92101
- Tue, June 21 - Regional Planning Stakeholders Working Group (SWG) Meeting at Caltrans, 4050 Taylor St., San Diego, 92110
