I'm excited to journey into 2010. It's time to be thankful for what we have, and for me, that includes family and my work. It is a new beginning for all of us. I've taken much time for self reflection and contemplation of what is really important to me. Creating portraiture for more than thirty incredible years has made me feel like the most fortunate person in the world. I have had the opportunity to meet, and get to know, so many remarkable individuals and families through the years. By listening carefully to my clients, I have learned so much about the value of fine portraiture. I am driven to create portraits that are meaningful to my clients. What could possibly be more satisfying than creating a person's most valuable possession?

Our framer, Kim, has been framing for 35 years, which becomes obvious when you work with her. We have been fortunate to have her managing our framing department for the past 12 years.
Her work is impeccable and she is a true master of frame design and production. She has sought out some of the finest mouldings across the country and the world, but is also sensitive to the need for incredible value as well. Kim puts her whole self into her work and has made many close relationships with our clients over the years.

Toys R Us "Faces of Autism" fundraising campaign for Autism Speaks March 1st to April 30th 2010

Toys R Us "Faces of Autism" campaign for Autism Speaks will be launched March 1st

Portraits by Thomas Balsamo will be on display in 800 Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores across the country for the 4th consecutive year.
Every Toys R Us customer will have the opportunity to donate to Autism Speaks at the register. Portraits created by Thomas Balsamo will be on display in the front of the stores to give a face to the campaign. During this campaign in the last 4 years, $4.5 Million has been raised for Autism Speaks.
