I am sharing this simple technique with you, to help you become more efficient with your fitness regime. Once the brain and body connect, the spirit has room to soar!  Understanding what your body is doing assists injury free movement.

Seasonal Recipe

  

Avocado Orange Salad

 

Asian Spinach Salad with Orange and Avocado

 

4 Servings

 

 

Ingredients  

2 tbs chopped shallots

2 tbs rice vinegar

1 tbs vegetable oil

2 tsp minced peeled ginger

1/4 tsp sesame oil

1 navel orange

1 6oz bag baby spinach leaves

1 Fuerte avocado

 

Preparation 

Whisk first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.

 

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

 

Cut off peel and white pith from orange.

 

Cut orange into 1/3 inch rounds; cut rounds crosswise in half.

 

Add spinach to dressing; toss to coat.

 

Add avocado and orange. Toss gently.
