Greetings!
As Autumn surrounds us with its splendor, we at The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures send our warmest wishes for a beautiful and bountiful season. This month we explore the amazing creativity and inventiveness of several miniature artisans. You will enjoy first hand video of IGMA Fellow, Connie Sauve, as she describes her inspiration and unique use of containers for the museum's recent exhibition Connie Sauve: Renovated and Restyled Miniatures. Nearly 16,500 museum visitors were absolutely enchanted by Connie's creations, and we're still hearing from them five months after the exhibit closed! Look for a terrific miniature Wind-Chime How-To just in time for fall breezes, some neat tips and tricks from NAME's Leslie Hopwood and Lynn Jensen on using unusual containers and materials, and our own Minis Magnified look at a few ingenious containers for miniatures within the museum's collection. Miniatures at Large brings a brand new perspective on our art form with information on the new rage for Tilt Shift Photography. To top it off, please meet ceramist, Craig Roberts, aka The Hairy Potter, whose full scale pottery becomes the perfect vessel for his meticulously crafted, and fantastically imagined, miniature scenes. I'll be enjoying the Harvest Moon this weekend knowing that, like miniatures, its beauty is something we can all appreciate more fully through sharing. Shine on!

2012 Annual Fund Campaign

The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures needs your help. We are a young organization with a unique collection of world-class miniatures tucked away in a breathtakingly beautiful corner of Tucson, Arizona. In addition to our permanent collection, every year we mount several changing exhibitions of miniatures related to history, world cultures, literature, current events, work and recreation. We have set high standards for your museum experience, paying close attention to the quality of our programs, publications and the upkeep of our state-of-the-art exhibitry, facility and grounds.
We are a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation that hopes to achieve public charity status within a 60-month period of operation as defined by the Internal Revenue service. Public charity status is granted when an institution has developed diverse sources of contributed support that help sustain its operations. Your donation in any amount to our 2012 Annual Fund Campaign will help us reach this goal. Click here to support the museum and make a gift in any amount, or call us at 520 881-0606.
You have told us that The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is a Tucson treasure, a one of a kind experience that is not to be missed. We strive to live up to that reputation and with your help we will maintain the outstanding destination experience you are excited and proud to share with your guests. Thank you for taking the time to consider this request, and for all that you do to make The Mini Time Machine Museum a success.
