Greetings!
Collectors are very special people, and when they share their collections we are all in for a treat! This month, we take an in-depth look at miniature collecting from every perspective. You will meet collectors Pat Arnell and Jackie Hoefert, enjoy video of two spectacular miniature collections by Madelyn Cook, make your own miniature butterfly collection and learn about the technique and inspiration of original miniature painter Melissa Wolcott. Thanks to our NAME contributors, we're encouraged to always make a few extra items when crafting things for our miniature collections (the true essence of comprehensive collecting!) Speaking of treats, check out NAME's calendar with the many fun activities planned in locations around the country this summer. If you're close by, be sure to visit us for The Goodie Old Summertime in Tucson at The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures. With miniatures, you can never have too much of a good thing!

Sustaining our Future: Gifts of Personal Property

The Mini Time Machine Museum is grateful to have been the recipient of several fine collections of miniatures from well-known artisans and collectors for its permanent collection. We also solicit the donation of dollhouses and furnishings in good condition for our study collection used in education and outreach, and for programs like The Dr. Betsy Farmer Dollhouses in the Schools project, Art Beyond Sight - a hands on display being developed for the visually impaired, and as auction and estate items to raise funds through sales to support the museum's operations. If you would like to have us consider your gift of personal property, or if you wish to make a contribution to support these wonderful programs either now or as a planned gift in the future, please contact executive director, Nina Daldrup, at ninad@theminitimemachine.org or (520) 881-0606 ext. 102.
Thank you! |
