Spring is finally here and it is a lovely time to be in Tucson. We would like to mention a couple of events coming up that we think may be of interest to our followers. This weekend, March 10th & 11th, is the annual Rails in the Garden Tour. If you haven't been, this is your chance to visit garden railroads in the Tucson area. There are eight garden railways on the tour this year. Click here for more information or call 520-820-0556. Dirk Arnold, whose work has been on display at The Mini Time Machine, has an exhibit called Endangered Architecture on display at the Temple Gallery through April 3, 2012. More information here. Speaking of railroads, train aficiaonados are in for a treat. On April 24, 2012, The Mini Time Machine will open a new temporary exhibit: Brass Tracks and Railroad Facts: G Scale Model Railroading. Details coming soon. Please note: The Mini Time Machine will be open on Easter Sunday from noon until 4pm. There will be an Easter themed scavenger hunt gallery guide available. The Mini Time Machine is raffling an amazing Dura-Craft Southern Mansion plus a $100 gift card to Miniature Memories! Already assembled, all that's left is the fun part of turning it into your dream home! All proceeds benefit the TMTM Summer Camp Scholarship Fund and Community Ourtreach Programs. Read on for details. Happy Spring! |
