Greetings!

As we go on our Road Trip to Jerusalem we are working on making room in our lives for God to work!

Personally for me, I am making room by getting rid of some things I use as a "crutch" . . . my first passion being Dt. Mtn Dew.  I've reduced my intake from "many" to "2."

"Really?" You may say . . . that's the best you can do? But that is a HUGE crutch for me! (and there are some other things I'm obstaining from - brussel sprouts, caulifour, just kidding!)
Caffeine and just the "thought" that I've got that to lean on carries me through days like Tuesday that have back to back meetings that go 11 hours . . .    :(

So today I began practicing the discipline of fasting from one of my favorite things!  And each time I did NOT have what I wanted I took the $ I would have spent and placed it in my "road trip bank."

At the end of Lent - all our mission monies collected will go toward feeding local students that live in poverty!!!

Today I saved $4.00 . . . if I keep that up for 40 days I'll have $160 which will feed 4 Mooresville children for a month . . .

I hope you will join me on this trip . . . find some things that clutter your life and get rid of them.  Use them, instead, some how, and in some way, to make a difference in other's lives!

You will receive a "Road Trip" bank on Sunday to help save the funds!  See you then!  Have a great weekend!

Grace and Peace,
Andrea
