Greetings!

Happy New Year!  I hope you have had a great week!

 

I want to say a HUGE thanks to you for being a part of kicking off the New Year last weekend w/ West. 

 

I go to my office at Brawley each Sunday about 8am to "get my head right" and focus on the message.  Last Sunday I got a late start because I was a bit chatty (shocker!) with the set up team and I was late getting there, late leaving . . . you know how it goes.


As I pulled out of the parking lot I was struck by the vacancy in the parking lot.  I thought . . . "oh no, there's NO TELLING what our parking lot will look like!" I knew it was a holiday but I didn't know what to expect . . . and when I got back to West at 9:50  . . . oh my . . . it looked as if the set up team had left!!!!  We had LOTS of availability in parking . . .. :) Yet - at 10:10 we had 200 folks! 

 

Thanks for making West a part of your faith journey!  I believe being in community makes a HUGE difference!

Who is Nikita Koloff?  

 

Back in the 80's I was a HUGE fan of WWF. 

 

Nikita Koloff was one of the guys I remember watching wrestle every weekend on TV . . . and he was a phenomenal wrestler.  He wrestled folks like Andre the Giant, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat . . .

 

ANd we are honored to have Nikita be with us Sunday.  Michelle and Chris Rhyne are dear friends of Nikita and know his personal story and journey of faith!  Nikita will be sharing that on Sunday and personally, I can't wait to hear it! 

 

INVITE your friends!  This is a great opportunity to get them to "check out West!" 

 

I promise it will be a Sunday you won't want to miss OR forget!  He has a powerful testimony of how God transformed him into becomming the "me" he wanted to be!!!!
