Greetings!

 Happy Friday!

I anticipate this weekend to be one of the most powerful we've had!  Two families in West will be sharing their journey as organ donors and/or recipients as they have given and received the gift of life!  As Lee interviewed them for the video he shared what a spiritual impact it made on his life and I knew it could be an amazing Sunday.

The reality of it, however, came when last night I had the oportunity to meet with the former Uganda team, Rebecca, Geoffrey, and Pastor Jan.  We were discussing how part of our future mission will focus on health care in Uganda and hopefully make a dent in needless death and disease with the resources we have.  Geoffrey's passion was evident as he shared ways medical mission teams make an impact.

That same passion is here in America as well . . . each week when we pray for those in our midst we offer life-giving supoprt.  In addition to lifting one another up in prayer - we also offer other parts of ourselves and those parts save lives.

Sunday we are going to be parts of life-changing stories in how self-lessness has not only changed lives, but SAVED lives.  I promise you will leave worship Sunday with a new passion for life and for each day that is a gift to us.  You will have a concrete way that you can use the gifts and resources you have to leave lasting mpact in this world!

Thank you for being a part of the West Community and I hope to experience worship with you on Sunday after an EXTRA HOUR OF SLEEP . . . move the clocks back!

Grace and Peace,
Andrea
