What makes you say "WOW!"?
I think it has been awhile since the Smith family has consumed a meal together from food in our refrigerator!
Last night, because I realized I am getting ready to be gone from home a significant amount of time, I felt like I should try to make sure there was something edible in the refrigerator.
I began perusing the contents of various containers . . . and realized very quickly just because it "said" it was something, perhaps looks were deceiving!
I found the most amazing item in one of the plastic containers! And when I discovered it all I could think of was WOW! Somehow, over an extended period of time . . . a perfectly shaped mushroom was created from the ingredients in that container! I've never seen that happen before! I didn't even know that COULD happen!
There are so many different things that make us say "Wow!" Not silly fungi growing in my appliances but things that grow within the life of the church!!!!
For West, one of those things is WIRED! And there is a special opportunity for you on Oct. 23!!!!WORSHIP that day will be a WOW!!!!! Our WIRED kids and teens are going to be leading in worship!!! it will be an amazing . . . there is great music, a relevant message, and it is a GREAT opportunity to invite some friends that you have been hoping to get to West but they have been hesitant! If they have kids, this will be a great way to show them what West/WIRED is all about and how it makes a difference in the lives of the kids/teens!
If you find yourself thinking . . . "I don't have children so this is totally NOT relevant to me . . WRONG!" It will be a great day of worship - yet with the component of the perspective of our kids! We will be wrapping up the sermon series "Get Real!" and it will be a day you will never forget! I hope you will join us and invite others so together you will be able to take pause and say "WOW!"
