West Header Email
I hope you all have had a great week!

I'm looking forward to Sunday when we start our "Get Real" Series & each week we will focus on a new thing to "Get Real" with . . . this week is LOVE!

When I asked you to submit words that described West for you - sooooooo many of you said "Real!"

For a long time I never knew if folks meant "Real" as a compliment or if it simply was a nice way of saying, "The church/you aren't very academic or theological, but the church/you are nice and personable."

I now know when folks describe their faith community as "Real" that is one of the highest compliments they could give!

For the next several weeks we will be looking at the Fruits of the Spirit - Love, Patience, Self-Control (that should be FUN!), Faithfulness, and Joy and talking about how we can "Get Real" with each of those as we carry out the vision and mission of West!

I hope to see you on Sunday!!!

Also - don't forget - next Sunday will start the LifeGroup that follows the worship hour!  Please hang out post-worship to go futher in our journey together!

Have a great Friday!

Grace and Peace,
Andrea

HOST HOMES needed for Children's Choir

The Daraja Children's Choir of Africa is embarking on a US tour and will be in our town in early November!

Daraja means "bridge" in Swahili, and these 24 orphaned children have journeyed across the bridge all the way from Kenya to bring you a taste of African worship and praise.

We are looking for 12 families who would be willing to open their home and serve as a host family for our Daraja Children's Choir of Africa team on Nov 3rd and 4th
