On Sunday May 6, 2012, Vishnick McGovern Milizio will continue its annual tradition and participate in the MS Walk at Jones Beach State Park. We hope you will join our Team and participate in a day of fun, exercise and awareness about Multiple Sclerosis.

As part of our team, we invite you to join us for our team lunch, giveaways and a VMM Team t-shirt! There will also be live entertainment before and after the walk!

There is no cost to register for the walk, however we encourage you to solicit donations to support the cause.  (Jones Beach is a State Park and they do charge a parking fee of $8.00 per car).

Walk MS Site & Schedule Information
  • Jones Beach State Park- Parking Field 5
  • Approximately a four mile route
  • Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

Directions from Meadowbrook Parkway:  

(Wantagh Parkway will be closed from the Southern State Parkway to Sunrise Highway.

  • Meadowbrook Parkway South pass through toll booths.
  • Proceed towards the Jones Beach needle.  
  • Bear right onto Bay Drive (sign will say Jones Beach Theater).
  • Make the first left and follow signs for Parking Field 5 (drive towards the Jones Beach Theater).  
  • Make the second right into Parking Field 5.

 

Directions from Wantagh Parkway (open south of Merrick Road):  

  • Enter Parkway South of Sunrise Highway via Merrick Road.  
  • Go south and pass through toll booths. Follow signs for Parking Field 5 (Jones Beach Theater).
Look for the Vishnick McGovern Milizio Table when you arrive!
