Greetings!

At this time and so close to the end of the year, I want to acknowldege you all for being so dedicated to your practice, to yourself, and being so helpful to the studio. It shows in all the little things you do; such as, being helpful and friendly to new students, being patient, providing a good example, helping to keep your studio clean, as well as staying current with your class package and account. With your smiles, your kindness, your donations to smile train,  and your support in all areas, I couldn't ask for a nicer studio and nicer students. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

May you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,

Anthony Burkart

Justine Mancuso and our teacher Anthony Burkart competed in the Southern California Yoga Asana Competition and did an amazing job representing Bikram Yoga El Cajon at the competition.

Bikram Yoga El Cajon students and studio sponsored and starred in a fabulous 2011 calendar, with photography from Laura Carrasco and Hector Delgado.  Calendars are still available for purchase until December 15, 2010.

The Bikram El Cajon Cafe and Juice Bar opened.  Thank you to all for your patience and continued support during renovations.

Teacher training ended with 388 new graduated teachers.  Stefan will now return to teaching at our studio, and we are looking to recruit two new teachers to teach at Bikram Yoga El Cajon.

On November 28, 2010 our newest Bikram Yoga Baby was born.  Nopanoot Kempsey (Nairm) gave birth to baby girl Alex.  Congratulations Nopanoot.

30 Day Challenge

On January 1, 2010, we are planing a 30 day challenge.  Some students have already completed a 60/90 day challenge prior to this announcement, and we wish to recognize Dina Mirvis, Michelle Limber and  Moises Ramos on completion of their personal challenges.  Congratulations to you on your accomplishment.

If you have not yet tried a 30 Day Challenge, now is your chance.  Take 30 classes consecutively in 30 days and see your practice improve, your health improve & your life improve.

Upon completion of your 30 day challenge, you will receive a free Bikram Yoga El Cajon T-Shirt and Certificate of Acheivement.

We have some journals for sale in the boutique and encourage you to journal your challenge. What a great way to write down your progress, dreams, aspirations, poetry, etc.  We encourage you to try some creative writing on whatever comes to your mind. You might be surprised on what is inside there.

The rules are simple-take 30 classes consecutively. You may miss two classes but will have to make those classes up with doubles before the 30 days are up. We do not encourage you to miss any classes to make up later. Proper planning will allow you to take one class each day for 30 days.

The challenge begins on January 1, 2011.  Please notify us at the front desk of your 30 day challenge begin date, if you wish to begin sooner.

Yoga Etiquette
While finding a spot in the studio, please do so quietly, put your mat on the line, 1/2 of the way over the line while being considerate of those around you, do not place your mat too close to another mat and be sure not to place your mat directly in front of another mat.   Everyone should be able to see at least a sliver of themselves in the front mirror.
