Michael and IkeGreetings!

Well, Indian Summer seemed to hang on for dear life, but finally, it is getting to feel like winter.  I am sure that as soon as the snow starts falling, we will look back at those unseasonably warm days and wish they had never ended. Meanwhile, PWP has been very busy. To see what we have been up to, read on.

Glorious PAWS!

For a long time, PWP has wanted to work with nonprofits that focus on animals and animal welfare. Well, we finally got our chance.  We created a video for PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) that was shown at a November 22nd fundraising dinner. Michael was on hand for the premiere, and said that it was extremely well received.  Hopefully, our work will be just one more step towards a No-Kill Philadelphia! COOKIE EXTRAVAGANZA

The PWPeeps decided to create our own holiday gifts this year!  Lead by baker extraordinaire, Abby Rogers, who baked for days and then we all decorated till we dropped, stopping only to eat the spares! Enjoy a glimpse into the world of "Baking PWP Style"!

Dr. King

As we have for the last four years, the PWPeeps will be volunteering our time on January 16th, 2012  for the National MLK Day of Service. We encourage ALL of our friends and

colleagues to do likewise. For more information about ways to volunteer, please go to:  http://www.globalcitizen.us.com/ or http://mlkday.gov/ .

ROA: The Reserve Officers Association
Citizen Warrior
Citizen Warrior
Recently we created a video for the ROA, the only nonprofit that directly advocates and educates to meet the needs of military reservists. The video is being used online as part of the ROA's campaign to increase public awareness of its presence and the important job that it does for those who have served or continue to serve in our military reserve component.
Green PWP

PWP is forever striving to become a greener company.  To that end, we have our yearly Corporate Social Responsibility report on our website,  and we do all that we can to be good steward's of the planet. One of our recent dilemmas was how to safely recycle the many alkaline batteries that are necessary to our work.  We discovered that not only do a number of local and national companies accept alkaline batteries for proper recycling, but that there are also kits one can send away for to have in-house battery recycling. Below is a list of resources and businesses and we highly encourage you to follow our lead and recycle!
