 Michael in Big ChairGreetings!
Welcome to our second Newsletter.  We are trying to find ways to keep our announcements fresh and interesting, so as of our next Newsletter, we are introducing a Q & A section.  You send in the Q and we will do our best to supply the A. You can ask about something in this Newsletter, something in the world of Film and Video, or whatever you think we may have some expertise in! Challenge us - go ahead, we can take it!

Expanding our offices
  Paint cans
Primitive World Productions is, as promised, expanding its offices.  But as any of you with an older building know, that process is slow and painstaking.  Somehow in 1880, they forgot to allow for internet and phone lines????  But seriously, workmen, painters, and so on are hard at it getting our space ready. And just so everyone knows, we are employing Green workpeople (JoshuaCohendesign@gmail.com) and using no VOC paint! More photos as work progresses and we, literally, stretch our wings!
FREE STUFF
The first 3 people to email us at info@pwpvideo.com will receive a free copy of the below reviewed DVD. You can only win one time per calendar year.

 Film Review
 by Meghan Giglio

I remember years ago my mom telling me of the days she used to go to the chicken market with her mom to buy fresh chicken for dinner. She said the chickens would be in coups and you would pick out your chicken (I imagine similar to lobsters in a tank when dining at a fancy seafood restaurant). When the best looking chicken was picked, my mom said the butcher would grab it, chop the chicken's head off, clean it, package it and off you went. Yet, my mom's FAVORITE part was every so often, the chicken, now headless, would sometimes manage to wriggle from the butcher's grasp and run around. She thought this was hysterical. I on the other hand, was a bit mortified.

What's up at PWP?
October 29th - a day that will live in infamy!

JEVS Still

On October, 29, 2009, PWP accomplished what can only be called "the amazing feat" of delivering 5 videos in one day!  All were for one of our most loyal clients, JEVS, and included a new General Use video and 4 Strictly Business Award Winner videos:  two "Inspiration Awards" and two "Business Leadership Awards."
Of special note is that the General Use video was created using both old and new footage, a technique near and dear to PWP's hearts.  We were writing about it on our Blog all the way back in 2008:  "Leveraging Your Video Assets." To read the Blog article click here.

Constitution center sponsors teen video debate on immigration

By Michael Matza
Inquirer Staff Writer

Alternating between giddiness and focused attention, a cross-section of American youth debated immigration reform yesterday in an innovative videoconference centered in Philadelphia and sponsored by the National Constitution Center.
Challenged by the prompt, "Should the United States reduce immigration?" the selected students from several high schools in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, New York, and California were linked via closed-circuit TV and watched one another on large, subdivided video monitors.
