Dear Ones,
"Thinking habitually about people, their actions, their human limitations, tends to bind to bind one to personal consciousness.
To do the great works that Jesus promised His followers would do, one must raise his consciousness to the place where he is able to
see the perfect image and likeness of God in all people. By seeing only the Christ in all people, we not only strengthen our own spiritual consciousness but help all whom we contact to realize and express their innate divinity."
Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You.
As we enjoy the last month of summer, let us relax and gently turn
our attention to the goodness and grace of God. Remember to look for the good in people and situations. Look for the goodness in you when confronted by an uncomfortable situation. Realize and express your innate divinity in discovering good in everything.
Myrtle says, "Stop trying so hard to know that everything is as it should be. Just rest your mind and hear and emotions and body in GOD-MIND. When you are truly thinking God, you cannot struggle to do anything.
Summer blessings and joy,
Rev. Sondra

All proceeds for this annual event will benefit the work of Some Other Place.
The theme of our booth this year is "One World", and we would love to have your ideas for a simple, eye-catching, message-promoting booth.
As in years past, Unity of Southeast Texas will provides samples of pasta salad. If you are interested in having lots of fun decorating the booth, preparing pasta salad, setting-up and/or serving our food, please contact Dave Henderson: dhenderson4@gt.rr.com or 409-351-1325.
