Greg Tamblyn Revisits Us July 26th
|
IN CONCERT: GREG TAMBLYN, NCW (No Credentials Whatsoever) LIVE MUSIC & MUNCHIES Thursday, July 26th 7-9pm Suggestion donation: $10 Hilarious Heartfelt Music Vibrating at the Frequency of Fun! When you consider that most of the songs from Nashville are about broken hearts, shattered dreams, and mamas getting run over by pickups, it's no surprise that songwriter Greg Tamblyn finally found a new niche. Tamblyn is much too successful to sing the country-western blues. He's just released his 6th CD, he's playing concerts all over the country, and he's even a sought after entertainer at health and wellness seminars. "I am sure you are Chicken Soup for a lot of Souls out there in the world." -- Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul
"No Contest! This is the cleverest musical take on modern life. Your cheeks will hurt from laughter as your heart fills with empathy."-- Yoga Journal
Get free songs, videos, and humor at Greg's website:
ADVISORY: Greg's songs contain anti-depressive lyrics!

10th Annual
A Tasting for Some Other Place
Tuesday, August 21st
5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Beaumont Civic Center
Presented By
Some Other Place
General Admission $10.00 per Person
Tickets available at Unity of SETX
from Dave Henderson
There will be over 50 booths of tastings of favorite recipes from local congregations, businesses & organizations. Some Other Place, Beaumont's faith-based mission, is the place people turn to for Emergency Services in times of need and for on-going programs which provide assistance at no charge to the recipient. All proceeds for this annual event will benefit the work of Some Other Place.
The theme of our booth this year is "One World", and we would love to have your ideas for a simple, eye-catching, message-promoting booth.
As in years past, Unity of Southeast Texas will have a booth with samples of pasta salad. If you are interested in having lots of fun decorating the booth, preparing pasta salad, setting-up and/or serving our food, please contact Dave Henderson: dhenderson4@gt.rr.com or 409-351-1325.
