|
... is the day to bring a bit of earth from your home or some other place special to you and sprinkle it on the earth that is being prepared for our labyrinth base.

A Day with Rev. Jim Rosemergy
| |
Sunday,October 9th
Morning Service 11-Noon
Light snack lunch
Afternoon Workshop on The Gathering
1-3p.m. (Love offering)
Rev. Jim Rosemergy

Many of you know Rev. Jim through his books, his website www.innerjourney.org, and/or his talks and workshops in Unity churches.
We are honored and delighted to welcome him back to Unity of Beaumont (now Unity of Southeast Texas) next month.
The workshop will be based on Rev. Jim's latest book, The Gathering (available in our bookstore) which we have been studying in our Sunday morning Book Study:
"Prayer is a challenge for many of us. What should we ask of God? Is anyone listening? Why aren't our prayers being answered? The hard truth is this: God doesn't fulfill needs. For thousands of years, humanity has brought needs to God with little success, often resulting in disillusionment. Now is the time to try something new: A nine-step prayer practice called The Gathering."
The first three steps are:
Step 1: I release my human need. Step 2: I accept my human condition so I can express my spiritual nature. Step 3: I willingly release any part of my human self that is a barrier to God.
Intrigued? Join us for our Day with Rev. Jim, October 9.
