each Sunday morning the table in the kitchen area of the Main Building will be filled with books for sale;
on CommUnity Feast Sundays, the books in the Nancy Amsden storage cabinets will be offered for sale, as well.

There will be over 50 booths of tastings of favorite recipes from local congregations, businesses & organizations. Some Other Place, Beaumont's faith-based mission, is the place people turn to for Emergency Services in times of need and for on-going programs which provide assistance at no charge to the recipient. All proceeds for this annual event will benefit the work of Some Other Place.
As in years past, Unity of Southeast Texas will have a booth with samples of food. If you are interested inhaving lots of fun preparing, setting-up and/or serving our food, please contact Shannon or Sheri.

Unity created World Day of Prayer - the second Thursday in September - as a global effort to uplift our world in shared prayer consciousness. Since its inception 18 years ago, this sacred initiative has supported more than 15 million people with prayer.
On this day Unity of Southeast Texas is hosting a Prayer Vigil from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a service from 6 to 6:30 p.m. You are invited to drop by and join us in holding Sacred Space for this uplifting of consciousness. There will be candles, meditative music, inspirational reading material, and writing paraphernalia.
You can also be part of this sacred day by:
· Filling out and returning your Prayer List (inserted in your Sunday bulletin or downloadable from Unity World Day of Prayer ) with the names of those you would like us to bless during a 24-hour prayer vigil in the Silent Unity Chapel on September 8.
· Watching a live-streamed event (as above).
