I hope you are happy and well and enjoying lovely weather. I've been busy with little Matthew who is now almost 4 months old, and absolutely delightful. After many years of waiting, I'm happy to be celebrating Mother's Day and send love and appreciation to all the moms out there. See more photos below... Maybe like me, you had a dream of lasting love and shared parenthood. I am dedicated to helping people like you manifest their dreams and create lives they truly love, with all the love they want. As an author, psychologist and coach, I've helped hundreds of singles and couples transform their lives and create loving relationships. What are some of the common beliefs that impede us in our relationships?"
Last time we talked about the common, debilitating belief: I'm not good enough. When we believe we're not okay the way we are, we beat ourselves up, push ourselves to be different and feel discouraged and unhappy.
Another common impeding belief is: I can't have what I really want, so I should just settle for what I can get - in a romantic relationship, in a job or both. This is a popular belief, and many of us give up and feel resigned to our lot in life. We think we need to accept whatever relationships show up, and we are afraid to take risks and try something new. Most of us don't even stop to ask what we really want.
