Greetings!

I have to go on hiatus for a few weeks for a combination of health reasons and working in a little education. I am turning over the controls to a colleague who will run some 'best of' my past articles and a selection of safer-streets-relevant liberty content from some of America's best thought leaders on this week's current affairs.

Col. Oliver North, David Codrea, and The Heritage Foundation all address one of my favorite EMS topics... Preparedness. It is essential to liberty.

Thanks for being with me,

[..] It's not even the law and legality so much as it is personal attitude of absolute hostility to independence from public servants. After all, gun bans are not about safety and safer streets, they are about dependency on servants. Our independence of those servants will be what makes for safer streets, and they know it. We've seen similar...  More. . .

Under seige

NORTHTUCSON, Ariz. - "We're under siege," said rancher Ed Ashurst as he pointed to where he had tracked the killer of his friend and neighbor to the U.S.-Mexico border. "Five years ago, we didn't even bother to lock our doors. Now my wife and I carry firearms everywhere we go."

Polls show Americans aware of dismal disaster prep, by James Carafano

HeritageAccording to the Associated Press, a "survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center says that nearly 6 in 10, or 57 percent, say the country is not better prepared for another disaster like a hurricane. Roughly equal numbers of Democrats, Republicans and independents share that gloomy outlook." Americans are pretty smart.
