Greetings!
Re-writing history may seem to be the prerogative of a victor in any sort of war, but who is at war with whom in the U.S.?
Would a building in New York built against our protest threaten our very sovereignty? I think so. Newt Gingrich's thoughts on the Mosque contemplated against protest of the sovereign.
Dennis Prager calls attention to media refusal to duty in his piece today.
David Codrea's report on how some stars become so elitist. Politicians aren't the only ones out of touch..
Phyllis Schlafly notes a small squall in Arizona that could become a landfall Category 5 if we don't watch it..

Admonishing Americans to be against violence.
I have responded to admonishments made to gun owners, Militia, and liberty purists that admonishments against taking violent action are directed at the wrong people. I'm going to expand on what my regular Examiner article says and add this: Anyone who thinks that the people are hostile or are the aggressor against government and cannot restructure or even supervise their own government has a very poor understanding of the nature of the relationship between the government and the governed. I emphasize that, under our system, any force which would (in the words of critics) overthrow our government of the United States would have to be external to the people. The people of the United States have so many non-violent options within due proces that it rather reveals that any such undermining is in fact external to the sovereign people.
Be sure and write me.

Naomi Campbell 'blood diamond' scandal brings out other famous anti-gunners
Does she care about how such diamonds mined in certain areas of Africa--often through forced labor by captives--are used to finance brutal repression and terror? What part did knowing it's illegal to remove such diamonds from South Africa play in her decision to "donate" the gift instead of keeping it?
And what does this have to do with the subject of gun rights?

Arizona's new law that requires the police to ask people to show ID, which was just knocked out by a supremacist judge, may not be the most controversial Arizona law about illegal aliens. Gov. Jan Brewer signed another law this year that bans schools from teaching classes designed to promote solidarity among students of a particular ethnic group.

No Mosque at Ground Zero.
[...] Many Muslims see sharia as simply a reference point for their personal code of conduct. They recognize the distinction between their personal beliefs and the laws that govern all people of all faiths.
For the radical Islamist, however, this distinction does not exist. Radical Islamists see politics and religion as inseparable in a way it is difficult for Americans to understand. Radical Islamists assert sharia's supremacy over the freely legislated laws and values of the countries they live in and see it as their sacred duty to achieve this totalitarian supremacy in practice.
