Front Office Freshen Up

ArchitectureThe front office is undergoing a refresh as we re-paint, re-carpet,  and re-organize  the hub of our campus.  Effective July 1, 2010, the front office will be temporarily relocated to the library conference room and the main office will be closed for the remodel.  Office hours will remain 7 am to 1 pm.  Please "pardon our mess" as we under go this long overdue refresh of our front office.

From the Principal's Desk
Dear

I wish to thank each and every parent and family member for the joy and privilege of helping to educate your children this past year. It is astounding how mature and dedicated they can be to their faith, their families and friends, studies, and community.

The Class of 2010 is a successful class.  All our graduates of the Class of 2010 earned their community service hours and many earned well beyond the required number. Many also have earned substantial scholarships to colleges and universities and, once again as is our tradition, they have been accepted to colleges and universities at an exceptionally high rate.

As this school year closes and summer school begins, the faculty and staff wish your family a great summer and look forward to seeing you for the 2010-11 school year.

Many Blessings,

Jo Dean Salley, Ph. D.

What's New at Notre Dame

Group Study Room
The east end of the library has undergone a beautiful remodel, creating a new student group study room that will double as a conference room after hours.  The new space is a preview of what's to come in the front office.

Wireless Computer Lab
The library is evolving to include wireless access and a new bank of lap tops allowing students to move freely about the library with internet access.  We will expand from a 15 station to 24 station library computer lab.

Computer Lab Upgrades
Our computer labs will be updated to include the latest operating systems and software, including Windows 7 and Office  2007.  Along with the deal are automatic updates as new versions are released.

Gym Floor
The gym floor has been replaced, finally, after 50 years.  The all new floor has a unique two-tone finish and sports some beautiful graphics including our updated "ND".

Mr. Silva (Class of 1960)

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Tony Silva (Notre Dame Class of '60) as our key note speaker during the commencement exercises for the Class of 2010.  Exactly 50 years have paassed since the first graduating class and Mr. Silva's presence as a representative of the first graduating class was warmly received as we celebrated the past and the future.  Many thanks to Mr. Silva for his fond memories of Notre Dame and his renewed excitement about our school.
Summer School June 23 -July 28

Summer School is in full swing and the Summer School office is located in the Student Services building (Counseling).  Summer School office hours are from 7am to 1pm.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to the Class of 2014 and all the new families joining the Notre Dame community this summer.

Mark your calendars, there is no school on July 5 in celebration of Independence Day.
