  Gordon Dick, of Tseshaht First Nation, has been a developing artist since the age of fifteen. His grandparents, Alan & Agnes Dick, passed on their traditional teachings, stories and values which then turned into Gordon's Artistic Vision.

The Nuu-chah-nulth Economic Development Corporation (NEDC) celebrated it's 25 Year Anniversary with a Gala Dinner Event on October 22/09 at the Italian Hall in Port Alberni.  Over 150 people took part in the evening's dinner & festivities/award ceremonies (NEDC's 2009 Business Awards & 2009 Business Planning Competition Awards).  The night was finished off very pleasantly with the entertainment stylings of INEZ (HipHop/R&B Singer), Ry Moran (Folk Rock/Rock/Country Singer & MC), & the Haahuupayak School Dancers/Performers.
