Attention Parents: We need you!

The Hartt Community Division Advisory Board needs more members. The Board offers parents and adult students another way to connect with our school and provides an opportunity to socialize with a fun group of like-minded people. Most importantly, as a Board member, you will provide critical service and support to the Community Division in its ongoing efforts to deliver worldclass performing arts instruction within a nurturing and vibrant community.

The Advisory Board focuses on initiatives and projects related to (a) fundraising for financial aid and special projects, e.g. touring; (b) promotion and recruiting; and (c) community-building. In addition, the Board provides essential advice and feedback to the Community Division Director on programmatic and administrative issues.

Spring 2012 Board projects include a May 2012 Benefit Concert featuring acclaimed violinist Sirena Huang and Opus 89, as well as participation in the June 2012 Ensemble Audition Festival. If you feel you can contribute to the success of these important activities, please join us!

To express your interest in Advisory Board membership or for further information, please contact Community Division Director Hilary Respass at (860) 768-4117 or [email protected], Advisory Board Chair John Sunde at [email protected], or Board member Sarah Gedicks at [email protected]
