HCD Students Offered Free Recording Time!

It's that time of year again. The Hartt Music Production and Technology department is looking for recording subjects for it's MPT 451 and 461 courses. This time around we are looking for classical soloists or ensembles (any instrumentation) to be subjects for our recording students' projects.

These sessions take place in room 342 of the Fuller building and the
sessions require the musicians to be available from 3:00 until 4:00 pm on the days listed below.  After about 30 minutes of setup and sound adjustment,  you will be able to record a few takes of a piece or movement that is approximately 10 minutes long.

You will receive an unedited CD copy of the session in a few days at the latest. If you want any further editing done you will need either do it yourself, or hire a Hartt Recording Studio Engineer at a cost of $50 per hour.

This is a great opportunity to get a high quality recording done for little or no cost. If you are interested in any of the time slots below please email the instructor listed for that day back as soon as possible as the dates are coming up fast.

Please realize that these are graded projects for our students and they need reliable and prepared subjects. Please only respond if you are sure you can make it and
will be prepared by the date chosen.
