"'Treaty of the Holston' (in Volunteer Landing Park) the installation of which took place when I was working for a previous mayoral administration. The sentiments on the faces of some of the Cherokees are intentionally disturbing as if they knew they were giving up virtually everything with the signing of the treaty." ~submitted by Marie Alcorn

Important!!! Service will last 30 mins longer than usual on Sunday for 10 to the City.

10 to the City

Bring all of your ideas to church this Sunday, September 16 as we begin an exciting brainstorming process to determine how to use 10% if our All Souls budget to make the greatest differences in seeking the peace of the city of Knoxville. Jot down very short phrases ( 3 words or less) to answer the following questions:

Question 1 - How can we (All Souls) seek the peace of the city?

Question 2 - In view of the answers to Question 1, what are the best uses of 10% of the All Souls budget?

Sunday's brainstorming (where all possible answers are welcome!) will be followed by a meeting after church on October 21to refine the options, and a meeting on November 18 to vote on the options.
