Spring is just around the corner

The weather has finally taken a turn for the better and we are all in great spirits.  10 more days until we can officially say that it's Spring! We are gearing up for what we hope will be an excellent growing season.  We are getting the greenhouses ready to plant, starting seeds, and getting things crossed off of our to do lists. There is nothing better than opening the doors to the greenhouse and feeling the warmth that the sun creates.  Jeff will soon be plowing the fields and the smell of freshly turned soil will fill the air.  Ahh the simple pleasures of Spring! This is the time of year when fresh vegetables begin to slowly trickle in. Parsnips are being dug daily.  They are extra sweet this year, get them while the last. We will update you when new products become available.
 
SpingTime to Plant
Tomatoes have been potted, lettuce has been seeded and salad mix is poking through the soil. There is nothing more exciting then seeing things growing in our greenhouse.  The smell of soil and the hum of the fans sure does make a farmer happy.  We will be seeding cukes at the end of the month and many other veggies.

Our farm made corned beef is a great addition to your St. Patty's Day celebration.  Made with our own beef and brined to perfection.  Get all of your boiled dinner ingredients in one stop.  Potatoes, cabbage, and carrots are  available.
