Ribbon Cutting Held for Natural Gas Fueling Stations

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on December 8, 2011 at a CNG Blue Diamond facility in Mt. Arlington, NJ. This project comprised of two (2) 250 HP gas compressors, one (1) 10,815 scf @ 5,500 psi gas storage tank, two (2) natural gas fueling dispensers, and forty (40) time-fill natural gas fueling posts. Blue Diamond Disposal has 100 trucks and 5,000 containers, and it serves more than 200,000 residential and commercial customers in Morris County. [...]
   

Why You Need a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in 2012

May 7, 2012 marks the date that all (with a few exceptions) new and existing environmental site remediation cases in New Jersey are required to retain a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP). Since 2009, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has been working toward significant changes to the Site Remediation Program (SRP), and full implementation of the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) and the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (ARRCS) rule. The SRRA establishes private-sector Licensed Site Remediation Professionals that must oversee remediation of essentially all contaminated sites in New Jersey.[...]

Continuing what has become an annual practice, LAN has partnered again with a group of seniors from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken who must create a joint real-life engineering design for their senior project. Each fall, Stevens asks local engineering firms to submit project ideas from which the students can choose. LAN's  potential project is usually an actual project that LAN is currently working on or has recently completed.[...]
