Remember when...

 

Judy & Shannon first met in 1988 when they were members of an artists' cooperative on the grounds of Evans Farm Inn. The Artisans was conceived as an alternative to the unheated & mouse-infested charm of the Old Mill Craft Gallery. In 1990 a tiny shop in the new McLean Marketplace Shopping Center became reality. In 1998 we moved to our current home in the Langley Shopping Center. As the store has grown in size & popularity we've been able to expand our selections to include more local vendors as well as American craft artists & import items. We try to have something for everyone & in a variety of price points - we're lucky that the depths of creativity in our community make that easy & fun.

 

 

We are also being featured in CRAVE dc, an urban woman's guide to the sassiest, most interesting & most inspiring locales & people in the Washington D.C. area. Copies will be available in the store starting mid-October.
