As we pause to celebrate Independence Day, Goodwill Easter Seals would like you to consider the independence provided to those who live each day with a disability.
There are so many ways to offer independence to those in our community. Last year, GES helped 7,311 residents along the Gulf Coast. To help us continue, please read below on how you can help us...help others.

 Run With Me added to Walk
This year GES is adding a 5k Fun Run to the 4th Annual Walk With Me event, October 2. Registering for the walk is free at www.walkwithme.org/mobile AND the run is only $10 during pre-registration at www.active.com or at McCoy Outdoors on Springhill Ave.
Both events are located at Hank Aaron Stadium and will be followed by good food, fun and family events! Registration begins at 8 a.m. Go online today to form a fundraising team at www.walkwithme.org/mobile. Also NEW, Goodwill Easter Seals is now selling tickets to the Bay Bears vs. Huntsville Stars game, August 26, at Hank Aaron Stadium for GES NIGHT AT THE HANK!

 It was a "Be Your Best Self Day" with AJM
America's Junior Miss contestants, along with the Mobile Junior League, visited GES, June 17. Children from the GES Child Development Center and a local daycare worked together with AJM on arts and crafts, had storytime and played with the ladies. "Be Your Best Self" highlights the true and inner beauty of everyone through responsibility, fitness and academic achievement.
