Voter's Certificate of Registration Now Online

WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Lake County Clerk Willard Helander announced today that all registered Lake County voters can now print their Voter's Certificate of Registration card by visiting the County Clerk's web site.

In November 2011, every Lake County registered voter received a new Voter's Certificate of Registration as part of congressional, state senate, and county board redistricting. If your card has been misplaced, print your replacement card by visiting LakeVoterPower.info and entering information to confirm voter registration status. Follow the link for "Certificate of Registration" to produce the new card.

Often referred to as a "Voter ID Card," the Voter's Certificate of Registration lists one's Election Day voting site, districts serving the voter's address, and a QR code linking smart devices to the Voter Power web page. The card is not considered valid identification for voting purposes.

"If you can't locate your card, you can simply print a new card at home - anytime," stated Helander.

A replacement card can also be requested from the Voter Registration Department by sending an e-mail to [email protected] or calling 847.377.2410.
