WAUKEGAN, Illinois - County Clerk Willard Helander announced that precinct voting sites will transmit election tallies for March 20 General Primary virtually live to LakeCountyClerk.info after polls close at 7 p.m. on election night.

Early voting, grace period registration voting, and voting by mail results are added to precinct tallies on election night after all Election Day precincts have reported.

Voters and interested parties are encouraged to become familiar with the election results page prior to Election Day by visiting LakeCountyClerk.info and clicking on "Primary Election Results." The Clerk's web site also offers an instructional video on navigating and customizing the view of election result summaries by race, as well as precinct level reporting.

Web visitors should click their browser's refresh button after they enter the results page to ensure the most recent results are viewed. Web navigation assistance is not available on Election Day as all staff will be supporting voting sites.

Results are also available by calling the Clerk's office at 847.377.2410 after 8 p.m.
