Lake County Clerk Reports Election Results Online
WAUKEGAN, Illinois - County Clerk Willard Helander announced today that election results for the Tuesday, April 5 Consolidated Election will be reported on the Clerk's website at LakeCountyClerk.info after 7 p.m as tallies are available.
Voters and interested parties are urged to visit LakeCountyClerk.info and click on ELECTION RESULTS prior to Election Day to become familiar with the site's features. Also on the Election Results web page, visitors will find an instructional video on navigating and customizing election result summaries by race, as well as a precinct level reporting. Web navigation assistance is not available on Election Day as all staff will be supporting voting sites.
All votes cast in precincts on Election Day will be reported virtually live as results are transmitted from precinct voting sites. Viewers should click the refresh button on web report pages once they enter to ensure the most recent results are viewed. Results for those who voted during early voting period, at the Clerk's office during grace period registration or voted by mail are counted and added to precinct results in successive files on election night after all Election Day precincts have reported. To determine when each ballot category is reported, locate the light blue bar listing an office title. To the right is an icon with a green arrow and legend Vote Type Summary. Click on Vote Type Summary to see the grid of voting options that have been reported.
Results are also available by calling the Clerk's office at 847-377-2410 after 8 p.m.
