Three Voting Options for April Election
WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Today Lake County Clerk Willard Helander reminded Lake County registered voters they have three convenient voting options for the April 5 Consolidated Election. In addition to the going to the polls on the traditional Election Day, voters may vote early or by mail until Thursday, March 31.
A ballot by mail can be requested for the April election using the form available at VotingByMail.info or by calling (847) 377-2406. Lake County voters may also enroll to vote by mail permanently for specified future elections.
Registered voters may vote early at a convenient location Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit LakeVoterPower.info to find your early voting site, driving directions and photos. Early voters are required to present a current government-issued photo ID.
On Election Day, voting sites are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Entering voter specific information at LakeVoterPower.info will link a voter to the Election Day location including address, picture and driving directions.
