 "One-Click" Voter Power Election Information

WAUKEGAN - Responding to the "One-Click Rule" for savvy web surfing, LakeVoterPower.info gives Lake County voters one-click access to all election information after confirming registration at one's current address. The user is prompted to key in their first name, last name, house number, zip code and birthday to view their specific information. The data is transmitted via a secure page and is not stored or collected.

The Voter Power landing page offers links to districts serving your address, current elected officials, a preview of your official ballot as well as early and Election Day voting site information. You can also request a ballot by mail and track your voted ballot's return to the County Clerk.

Clerk Willard Helander explained, "It has been our goal to make the website as user-friendly as possible. We've received many positive responses that the Voter Power page empowers voters via the internet."
